# Granite Falls schools invite neighbors to Nov. 6 Veterans Day assemblies

Veterans, military families and neighbors are invited to join Granite Falls students for Veterans Day assemblies on Friday, Nov. 6.

Granite Falls School District shared the invitation Thursday, welcoming community members to gatherings honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel. The schedules below are confirmed in the district's flyers for Granite Falls Middle School and Mountain Way Elementary.

The morning schedules overlap. Keep that in mind if you are deciding which school to visit.

## Granite Falls Middle School: 8:45–9:45 a.m.

The middle school's assembly runs from **8:45 to 9:45 a.m.** Friday at **405 N. Alder Ave., Granite Falls**. Doors open at 8:40 a.m.

## Mountain Way Elementary: 9:30 a.m.

Mountain Way Elementary's assembly begins at **9:30 a.m.** Friday at **702 N. Granite Ave., Granite Falls**, according to its [assembly flyer](https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1752451580218915). An end time is not listed.

## Allow time to check in

The [district asks guests](https://www.facebook.com/134545878119%5F1752451610218912) to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before an assembly and check in at the front desk for a guest badge. At the middle school, keep the separately listed 8:40 a.m. door-opening time in mind.
