# Heroes & Hoops brings basketball and a holiday market to Marysville Dec. 6

Local first responders will take the court when Heroes & Hoops returns to Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The Marysville Police Foundation’s charity tournament will be joined by a holiday market, giving visitors a chance to watch the games and shop from local vendors during the same visit. The foundation lists the event as free to attend and says it benefits Seattle Children’s and Toys for Tots.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office will return to the tournament, the foundation announced in a [recent team update](https://www.facebook.com/Marysvillepolicefoundation/posts/pfbid02JpfLBumwWLKinWS6HDmGqenbpHAfh4mhfZTZxcWkqKY6DKbHvsLMTyb2DKootSZul). More participating teams are expected to be announced.

## Basketball and a holiday market

The tournament’s [Facebook event](https://www.facebook.com/events/2113989189556534/) lists a 10 a.m. start at the high school, 5611 108th St. NE. The foundation’s [fundraising page](https://givebutter.com/heroes-and-hoops-2026?ref=justabouts.com) still describes the start time as to be determined, so check the organizer’s latest listing before setting out. A game-by-game schedule has yet to be announced in those listings.

The accompanying [Heroes & Hoops Holiday Market](https://www.facebook.com/events/1474267361198276/) is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school. Organizers describe a selection of handmade goods, holiday gifts and family-friendly products. The foundation is accepting vendor applications and says applications will be reviewed before payment is collected.

For anyone considering entering a team, the foundation lists Nov. 27 as the registration deadline. Use its event page for registration instructions and current details.
