Justabouts is a local news and events publication for Marysville, Arlington, Stanwood, and surrounding communities.
We want to make it easier to follow local decisions, discover something to do, and stay connected to life around here.
Life around here
Our focus includes Tulalip, Smokey Point, Lakewood, and the communities between our three main coverage centers. We also include selected news and events from Camano Island, Lake Stevens, Granite Falls, Darrington, and nearby places when they are useful to our readers.
A school achievement, a road closure, a council decision, a concert, or a community fair can all matter. We bring news and events together so readers can find useful information in one place.
How we work
We begin with official updates, community announcements, and links to reporting by other publishers. We identify our sources and link to the original material. Statements from a city, school district, or other organization are attributed to that source.
Our approach is to check important details before publication, add useful context, and distinguish reporting from opinion and advertising. Sponsored content will be clearly labeled.
