State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti visited Marysville Pilchuck High School’s Regional Apprenticeship Pathways program on Oct. 23, according to Kienan Briscoe’s report for the Lynnwood Times.

RAP gives high school students a local starting point for careers in the construction trades. Based at Marysville Pilchuck, the pre-apprenticeship program serves students from across Snohomish County, according to the county’s program overview.

Families interested in RAP can ask their school counselor about participation and how it fits their student’s schedule. Briscoe’s Oct. 23 coverage offers a closer look at the visit and the projects students are working on.
