Small works of art and holiday gift browsing come to Camano Island’s Gateway Gallery with Small Things Count, a show running Nov. 6 through Dec. 20. A public artists’ reception is planned for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The Camano Arts Association’s invitation lists new items, small artworks, a chance to meet some of the artists and treats to share. The gallery is in the little red building at Freedom Park, at 578 E. North Camano Drive.
Gateway features fine art and crafts by Camano Arts Association members for viewing, collecting and gift giving. The show’s listing also highlights the gallery gift shop and visitor information center.
For those visiting later in the season, the posted regular hours are noon to 4 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. Saturday’s opening reception has its own 4 to 6 p.m. time, extending beyond the usual Saturday gallery hours.
The exhibition continues through Sunday, Dec. 20. Visitors can find a map and parking directions on the Gateway Gallery page and details about the show in CAA’s event listing. For questions about the gallery or reception, the listing gives gateway@camanoarts.org.
