Dick’s Drive-In is accepting applications for its upcoming Tulalip restaurant, with extra travel pay for employees training at other locations before it opens.

The company’s employment page lists a $20 daily travel stipend for Tulalip employees training elsewhere before the opening. It also advertises a $250 retention bonus for employees hired for Tulalip, payable approximately 30 days after the restaurant opens.

How to apply

Use the “Apply to Tulalip” link in the Tulalip section of the company’s employment page. Dick’s says it will contact applicants with interview details.

Tulalip applicants should wait for those instructions before visiting a restaurant for open interviews. The company gives Tulalip applicants a separate process from its regular open-interview schedule.

Age, hours and pay

The company’s general daytime and late-night crew information lists a minimum age of 16 and availability of at least 16 hours a week. Its published crew pay starts at $22 an hour, rising to as much as $26 an hour when fully trained.

Applicants should check the linked Tulalip job listing for the position’s current terms.

Where the restaurant is planned

The Tulalip location is at 6410 33rd Ave. NE, across from Quil Ceda Creek Casino. The company’s location page still identifies the project as under construction; an exact opening day was not listed on the pages checked Nov. 1.
