If you need help finding food, working through benefit paperwork or figuring out where to turn for housing support, the Lake Stevens Community Resource Center can be a starting point.
The center, operated by Volunteers of America Western Washington, connects neighbors with practical assistance and referrals. Here is how to reach it and what to ask before a visit.
Where to go and when
Address: 8021 20th St. SE, Suite A102, Lake Stevens.
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
Phone: 425-405-2252.
Email: lakestevenscrc@voaww.org.
What help is listed
The center’s service page lists emergency food, job-search and résumé help, treatment-program referrals, help with housing and healthcare applications, and assistance navigating DSHS systems.
Rent, utility and emergency-shelter assistance depend on funding. Clothing, shoes, diapers, wipes, hygiene supplies and pet food depend on donations.
Call or email to describe what you need and ask what is available now. Ask whether a particular program has eligibility requirements, what documents to bring and whether an appointment would help. The public page does not provide one income cutoff or application checklist covering every service.
If your situation does not fit a listed service, the center invites questions about other needs too.
