Warm coats and clothing have been arriving at LINC NW, and now the organization needs a few more neighbors to help get them ready for its Community Clothing Closet.
A volunteer sorting day is planned for Thursday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1424 172nd St. NE, Marysville. LINC NW is asking volunteers to commit at least two hours during that window.
The organization has temporarily paused clothing donations while it catches up with the stock already received.
How to help
Volunteers will sort clothes into bins by gender and size. LINC NW says the work can be done seated.
The goal is to organize the donated items so guests can browse the clothing closet comfortably and with dignity. If you have questions about the setup or the work, ask when you sign up.
