Marysville neighbors can help local children and teens get ready for colder weather at two winter-clothing collection events this month.
The Marysville Police Officers Association is partnering with the Marysville Community Food Bank & Toy Store for its annual coat drive. Organizers are asking for new coats, hats and gloves in all sizes.
Where and when to donate
Both collection events take place at Kohl’s, 3713 116th St. NE, Marysville:
- Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The drive supports the food bank and Toy Store’s work to provide winter clothing for local children and teenagers, according to the city’s November City Scene newsletter.
If you are shopping for a donation, the request is for new items. Coats, warm hats and gloves in a range of sizes can help organizers reach children at different ages.
