Walking groups, floats and decorated vehicles can join Marysville’s Electric Lights Parade on Saturday, Dec. 5, as the city prepares for Merrysville for the Holidays.

Registration is $25 per entry, covering an individual or group. The city’s 2026 parade information sheet lists Monday, Nov. 23, as the entry deadline. Participants can sign up through the city’s online registration page.

Entries need a holiday theme and lights. Bicycles and walking groups are welcome alongside motorized entries, with a maximum of four vehicles per entry. The city calls for proof of insurance for motorized entries and reserves Santa and Mrs. Claus for the fire truck. Candy, flyers and other handouts are prohibited along the route.

Participants should plan for an earlier arrival: check-in runs from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., with judging at 5:30 p.m. Staging assignments will be provided during parade week.
