A child who reported that her mother had threatened to get a firearm and shoot her safely left the home and met officers nearby, according to Marysville police.
Police described the response in a department statement. The incident brought the Region 1 SWAT team to the 8400 block of 74th Drive NE and temporarily rerouted nearby traffic.
Officers set up a perimeter around the home and said they developed probable cause to arrest the woman for felony harassment involving threats to kill. The reported threats and possible involvement of firearms prompted the request for SWAT assistance, the department said. Police also obtained a search warrant.
During the operation, officers deployed a flashbang distraction device and used an armored rescue vehicle to breach the front door, according to the statement. Police said nearby residents may have heard a loud bang from the flashbang.
After negotiations, the woman came out into the front yard and was taken into custody without further incident, police said. Officers reported recovering multiple firearms during a search of the home.
The department said the woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail and that there was no ongoing threat to the community. Its statement did not identify the woman or announce a charging decision.
