Updated Nov. 3, 2026.
Marysville Emergency Weather Shelter is asking for volunteers so it can open safely Tuesday night, Nov. 3. The shelter says its planned opening depends on having enough people signed up, especially for mid-shift and overnight coverage.
In its Nov. 3 announcement, the organizer said it cannot open without adequate staffing. People seeking a place to stay should check the shelter’s latest update before traveling.
How to help tonight
Current volunteers can check the live shift schedule and choose a shift. At the time of this update, the schedule listed openings for dinner service, evening, overnight and early-morning help, along with laundry folding. Availability changes as people sign up.
The overnight mid-shift runs from 11 p.m. Nov. 3 to 3:30 a.m. Nov. 4. New volunteers with questions about orientation or signing up can contact shelter director Jessica Reyes-Bream at jessica@lincnw.org or 425-686-9272.
