Whitehorse Trail closures continue
The Whitehorse Regional Trail project page lists four closed sections, including the first three miles between the Centennial Trail and Bridge 701. Construction there runs from Oct. 5, 2026, through spring 2027.
Other closures are about 1.7 miles east of the Trafton Trailhead, at the French Creek bridge and on a section west of Darrington. French Creek bridge is closed to everyone, including pedestrians, for safety. The county says there is no detour.
Check the current closure notice and the project page’s trail map before choosing a route.
