Skagit Regional Health's Camano Island clinic will see patients through January 15, 2027, then shift its primary care services to Stanwood on January 18. The health system announced the change October 29.
About 3,767 patients are affected, according to SRH. The health system puts the distance between the two clinics at 6.7 miles.
The Camano clinic, at 127 NE Camano Drive, currently offers family medicine for patients of all ages and laboratory services. Its listed phone number is 360-387-5398. The clinic currently lists hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
What patients can do now
SRH says no patient action is needed now. Individual notices with transition details are expected in November. Patients with questions about a specific appointment can contact the clinic and confirm its location, date and care team as the transition approaches. Keeping the notice with appointment information can help make those details easier to check.
SRH aims to retain the care team, with possible schedule changes based on provider availability. Its announcement provides no patient-by-patient guarantee of the same clinician.
Where care is moving
Skagit Regional Clinics - Stanwood is at 9631 269th Street NW. The clinic's family medicine number is 360-629-1600.
The Stanwood location currently lists family medicine hours of 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. It also lists diagnostic imaging, a laboratory, foot and ankle care, orthopedics and sports medicine. The laboratory has a separate number, 360-629-1608. Hours vary by service, so patients can check the location page or call before arranging a visit.
SRH acknowledges possible transportation difficulties and plans to explore assistance with Island County and community partners. Its announcement identifies no confirmed transportation program, eligibility rules or start date.
Both clinic pages provide location maps. Checking the destination before leaving can help avoid a trip to the wrong office.
Patients who expect difficulty reaching Stanwood can raise that concern with their clinic when reviewing their appointment plans. Further transition details are expected in SRH's direct patient communications.
