A few ideas for the holiday table, something for the kids and a chance to help a neighbor are on the agenda at Camano Plaza IGA this Saturday.
The grocery store’s Holiday Open House is scheduled for noon–4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at 370 N. East Camano Drive, Camano Island.
According to IGA’s announcement, tastings around the store will include prime rib, shrimp cocktail, seasonal produce, charcuterie, bakery treats, Hometown Smoke products, local coffee and Twin Brooks Creamery. Wine tasting is for adults 21 and older.
Activities and a little holiday giving
Children can complete a holiday passport and play a Christmas Tree Game for a prize. Adults can enter a completed passport for a chance to win a Glass Quest Ball. The flyer also advertises a drawing for a Hometown Smoke turkey dinner and says no purchase is necessary to enter or win that drawing.
Visitors can learn about a Giving Tree toy drive and an option to donate a turkey dinner to a local food bank for $39.99.
