Students, parents, school employees and community members have until Nov. 10 to nominate a Granite Falls School District staff member for a Bridge Builder award.

The awards recognize employees who build trust with students and help them feel supported at school. Teachers, counselors, paraeducators and other certificated and classified staff are eligible, according to the district's November nomination form.

This is the district's first call for Bridge Builder nominations this school year. It announced the nominations Oct. 26.

How to nominate someone

The online form asks for the employee's name, role and school or department, along with examples of how that person has helped students. Nominators can describe moments when an employee offered guidance, provided support or earned a student's trust. There is also space for testimonials from students, colleagues or community members.

People submitting a nomination are asked for their name, email address and connection to the district. The form includes permission for the district to share excerpts in its communications if the nominee receives an award.

Submit a Bridge Builder nomination by Tuesday, Nov. 10.
