Visitors to the Lake Stevens Police Department and South Lake Plaza will need to use a different entrance while parking-lot construction closes access from South Lake Stevens Road.
In a Nov. 6 notice shared by the city, police said that access will be closed through Nov. 23, 2026.
During the work, drivers can enter and leave through the south parking lot, connecting to 20th Street SE. Police also said Subway customers can park in the police parking lot during the closure.

In a separate Nov. 6 notice, police said they will enforce the posted No Parking signs along the bicycle lane on the north side of 20th Street SE.
The department said keeping that area clear improves the view of oncoming traffic for drivers leaving the south parking lot. The parking notice describes enforcement going forward; the Nov. 23 date applies to the construction-access closure.
