Snohomish County’s Litter Wranglers recently collected 127 bags of garbage, tires and other debris in an area between Menzel Lake Road and South Machias Road, the county’s Public Works department reported.
The crew also removed 78 bags of garbage from Lake Cavanaugh Road, according to the department’s Oct. 27 update.
Residents can help direct the next cleanup by reporting excessive litter along roads in unincorporated Snohomish County. Call 425-388-7500 or email contact.pwrm@co.snohomish.wa.us with the location.
The county uses those reports to group nearby cleanup sites and plan the crew’s work. Its Litter Wranglers program page describes a seasonal service running from April through October.
