A backstage murder mystery is coming to the Marysville-Pilchuck High School stage, with six November performances by the Marysville High Schools Drama Club.
The Sound of Murder opens Thursday, Nov. 5. Every performance begins at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium at 5611 108th St. NE, Marysville.
The comedy takes place in a New York City interrogation room after a Broadway director is killed. Detectives Abernathy and Rivera question a lineup of suspects drawn from Broadway musical characters. The district’s announcement says the production also includes two musical numbers.

Tickets will also be sold at the door. The booster club says doors open about 30 minutes before showtime, and concessions will be available.
