Updated Nov. 6, 2026, with the state’s combined results as of 7:29 p.m. Pacific. Returns are unofficial.

Incumbent Sid Logan led Janet St Clair in unofficial returns updated Friday evening for Snohomish County PUD’s District 1 commission seat.

The combined returns for the utility district, which serves Snohomish County and Camano Island, showed Logan ahead by 59,955 votes. The count remained unofficial, with more ballots still to be counted.

What the latest returns show

These are the Washington Secretary of State’s combined results, including ballots counted in Snohomish County and the Camano Island portion of Island County. The percentages describe votes counted in this race, rather than overall voter turnout.

Why the seat matters

The PUD’s three elected commissioners establish utility policies and rates, guide its operations and appoint its chief executive. The District 1 seat carries a six-year term. The PUD’s commission page lists Logan as the current District 1 commissioner and board president.

One decision ahead for the utility is its 2027 budget. Our guide to the PUD’s proposed 2027 electric rates explains the proposal residents can review.

Early returns can change as additional ballots are counted. The result remains unofficial. Check the official race results for subsequent updates.
